Here are just a couple changes I’m making to my blog.
I will continue my 52 MOVIES FROM 52 COUNTRIES project to the very end but going forward I will be posting entries every other week rather than every week.
This will give me time to work on my new project LESSONS FROM SCI-FI / FANTASY MASTERS, in which I read every book on Amazon’s “100 Science Fiction and Fantasy Books to Read in a Lifetime” and blog about the lessons I learned from each volume on how to be a great writer.

I have been enjoying the films I’ve been watching for the 52 MOVIES… project, but I do want to take this blog in a direction that has more to do with books, writing and publishing.
Going forward I also plan to regularly post OPEN SUBMISSION blogs in which I list publications that are currently accepting short stories. This will give fellow aspiring authors a resource in which to find literary journals and promote the work found in these journals.
