I want to give my fellow authors a heads up that Flora Fiction will open to submissions on July 25th and Eastern Iowa Review is currently open for short story submissions.

THEME: Elven. All fiction must be tied to this origin story.
DESCRIPTION: We seek the linguistically unique and beautiful: lyricism is prized here so it stands to reason that our favorite writing forms are the prose poem and the lyric essay.
